– CNN and BBC had aired an investigative report confirming the killings which were vehemently denied by the Federal government.
President Muhammadu Buhari has finally broken his silence on the investigative video shown by CNN on the massacre of innocent protesters at the Lekki toll gate a few months ago.

The president expresses his displeasure at the biased report of the CNN investigative video and has wondered why the video doesn’t record the killing of the policemen, the looting of the Oba palace and breaking of shops and businesses rendering most people jobless.
He denies vehemently the report that confirms the killing of the innocent protesters at Lekki toll gate and maintains that no one was killed.
The information minister Lai Mohammed, even went as far as declaring it fake news and said that the federal government will not fail to place sanctions on the CNN for their biased news towards the tollgate massacre.

The Federal government after criticizing the biased news reports also declared that the country will not stand by and tolerate any of such demonstrations again.
A direct warning for anyone thinking about protesting again.
