Wizkid Wins Grammy Award
-Nigerian superstar singer Wizkid has won his first Grammy award at the 63rd Ceremony
-Starboy won the ‘Best Music Video’ award for his role in the ‘Brown Skin Girl’ video.
-The artist won the award alongside, Beyonce, Blue Ivy, and Saint JHN
Nigerian star singer, Wizkid has won a Grammy! Yeah, you read that right.
The super Nigerian artist won the award after featuring in the song ‘Brown Skin Girl.
Brown Skin Girl was nominated for the Best Music Video award which it won.
Beyonce who is the owner of the song featured Wizzy, her daughter Blue Ivy, and Saint JHN.
The award will also be shared with Jenn Nkiru who directed the stunning video.
The winning song was part of Beyonce’s 2019 album Lion King: The Gift which featured a select few African artists.
At the time of this post, the video has over 31 Millon views on YouTube. It is yet unknown if Wizkid will receive a certificate for his role in the song.

Another Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy may also be set to win an award tonight. The African giant’s album ‘Twice as Tall’ was nominated for World Music Album Award.
