Asari Dokubo Declares Himself Biafran Body Leader
-A former Niger Delta militant, Alhaji Asari Dokubo has declared himself the leader of de facto Biafran government
-George Onyibe was announced as the Secretary, while Emeka Esiri manages Legal issues for the government
-The statement added that the new de facto government will handle the security challenges in the state
A former militant of Niger Delta, Asari Dokubo has declared himself the de facto leader of Biafra.
Dokubo stated that Injustice among the Igbo people in various parts of the country led to him aspiring for a better life for his people.
The news was passed by the Head of Information and Communication of Biafra, Uche Mefor, and copies were made available to journalists in Warri.
Dokubo issued a statement claiming that the de facto government will tackle security challenges in the state and focus on science and technology.
Along with the new leader, George Onyibe was announced as the secretary and Emeka Esiri will tackle legal issues.

According to Dokubo, the government doesn’t plan to go into a war with anybody to achieve its set goals.
Part of the statement issued claimed that the people of Biafra were prepared to take their destiny into their hands and bring freedom to their children.
