Fast-rising Afrobeats musician, Rema has been known to make headlines several times, due to the quality of his music. This time, however, the Mavins record signee has turned heads by leading innovation in the music industry.
The 21-year-old singer is set to be the first Nigerian musician with an NFT project for his fans after he announced plans to launch one during the listening party of his debut studio album- “Rave & Roses”.
The artist disclosed his plans when a fan at the event asked him if he had plans to release a non-fungible token, to which he replied positively.
The singer has however failed to describe how the NFT project will be beneficial to his fans who are called “Ravers”.
Along with his NFT plans, Rema shared several details about his upcoming album, detailing how important the album will be to him as an artist, and also his fans.

The “Calm Down” crooner also disclosed the names of some artists that will b be featuring on his coming album, with the most notable mention being Chris Brown.
Rema is not the only Nigerian artist to share NFT plans recently. This comes after BNXN, formerly known as Buju announced a plan to launch an NFT collection named “Head by BNXN”.
