The Ukraine government has announced plans to launch a non-fungible token to mark the history of the Russian invasion of the country. This comes after several efforts taken by the government regarding the use of digital assets to fund its war efforts.
The country’s deputy minister of digital transformation, Alex Bornyakov announced that Ukraine plans to use the NFT collection as a museum regarding the events of the war with war. Bornyakov revealed that country plans to tell the world its war story in “NFT format.”

What are NFTs?
NFTs are unique digital items, usually art, that can be stored on the blockchain and traded or sold.
Bornyakov also disclosed that each NFT token released by the country will carry a piece of art that will represent a story from a trusted news source.
The collection is being prepared as the Ukrainian government continues to solicit funds to aid its defense against Russia’s invasion. Since the start of the invasion, crypto donations to Ukraine have passed $60 million, with NFT donations coming in as well. The most significant NFT donation was the CryptoPunk NFT worth more than $200,000.
