Popular singer, Davido has welcomed his second child with his Atlanta based babymama, Amanda. Davido broke the news on his Snapchat and Instagram. Davido in high spirits as he welcomes second female child, Hailey Veronica Adeleke.
Here’s what he wrote: “SHES HERE!! HAILEY VERONICA ADELEKE HAS COME TO BALL!!!!!! THANK YOU JESUS!! SHES TOO BEAUTIFUL!!.”
The singer has also been gushing about his daughter’s beauty via his Snapchat account. So 2-year-old Imade now has a baby sister, Hailey Veronica Adeleke.
Davido has been in the news lately after he confirmed that he was truly expecting a second child from his new babymama, Amanda. A few days ago, Davido left the shores of Nigeria for United States of America to await the birth of his baby.

Via Snapchat, the ‘IF’ crooner revealed that his second daughter’s name is ‘Hailey’. He also invited friends to grace the baby shower ceremony he had for the baby. Photos and video clips went viral on Sunday of the lavish event he had in anticipation of his new baby.
Recall that some Nigerians, particularly social media users, did not take the news well. Although some of the comments on Instagram were unprintable, some said he was a confused spoilt brat? I asked why?…That someone is anticipating the birth of his child means he is a spoilt brat? Anyway, social media trolls never cease to amaze us but when it comes to Davido, he has his way around with critics. He once lambasted one saying ‘My unborn daughter’s future brighter than yours, insecure fool.’
Then again, I thought. Could it be that it’s because Davido had a first baby out of wedlock and now, a second, from his lover who we are not so sure he will get married to? Children are a blessing from God, remember? Lol. Besides, it’s not like he is bothered. He once said ‘I can confidently say I never told any girl to have abortion for me‘, so why swallow panadol for his aches?
Let’s go down memory lane about how Davido was involved in a mess with his first babymama, Sophia, Imade’s mother. Recall that Imade’s birth sprung up a lot of controversies when Davido initially denied responsibility for her pregnancy. Their relationship headed for the rocks, leading to a public rant involving both families but soon after, the noise settled, however, the duo are not ‘as close as they used to be’.
