The Nigerian Entertainment Scene is in no doubt merging to a tremendous height as most musicians are beginning to feature in movies. This is just as Peter Okoye of the Psquare fame and rapper, Phyno are the latest addition to Genevieve Nnaji‘s directorial debut, “Lion Heart.” The anticipated movie, “Lion Heart” will be a must see as it features legends and ace movie stars. Peter Okoye, Phyno make acting debut in Genevieve Nnaji’s ‘Lion Heart’.
The ‘Look Into My Eyes’ crooner, Peter, shared a photo of himself at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu State, where the star studded movie is being shot. Okoye stars alongside veterans including Steve Eboh, Pete Edochie, Kanayo O Kanayo, Onyeka Onwenu and Nkem Owoh. ‘Lion Heart’ also stars Kalu Ikeagwu, Jemima Osunde, Yakubu Mohammed and Sani Muazu.

‘Lion Heart‘ is Nnaji’s second movie from her production company, The Entertainment Network (TEN), which was founded by Nnaji in partnership with Chinny Onwugbenu. The upcoming movie is written by C.J Fiery Obasi based on a screenplay by Ishaya Bako and Emil Garuba and it follows the story of an Igbo family that is into transport business.

Nnaji’s first self-produced movie from TEN was ‘Road To Yesterday’ which featured Majid Michel, Ebere Okaro and Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah as well as British actor and model Oris Erheuro, who plays Izu. Road To Yesterday is about a couple in dire need of a solution to their marital issues. The movie directed by Ishaya Bako tells of a struggling couple trying to save their failing marriage by reconnecting on a road trip.
Nnaji is a movie goddess who has risen to fame from the bottom. I personally cannot wait for this movie to be out.
