The wife of former premier league footballer Jamie Barnwell-Edinboro has reported the disappearance of her husband on Monday.
Edinboro played for Coventry City, Swansea, and Wigan during his playing career and he had spells in the Premier League.
The 45-year-old footballer who currently lives in Hull City left home for the gym on Monday morning but failed to return.
His wife Annaliese appealed to followers on Facebook, urging them to report to her if they have any details about her missing husband.
Annaliese revealed that her husband was acting strangely before the incident and she tried to call his number but it was switched off.
The wife of the former footballer expressed worry about him, stating that he had no money and he had struggled with mental health before.
Annaliese reported that the footballer had been broken by something one of his sons wrote about him online and he left a troubling note before leaving.

This is not the first time that the former premier league footballer will be reported missing, having previously disappeared in 2014.
Since his first disappearance, he was doing much better and had begun to work on his UEFA A Licence coaching course, while helping in the establishment of Blokes United.
