The tallest man in the United States of America Igor Vovkovinskiy has passed away after 38 years on earth.
The tallest man in America’s death was caused by a heart attack, as reported by his mother Svetlana Vovkovinska on Facebook.
The 38-year-old passed away at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, a city where he has lived since he was a child.
Vovkovinskiy who was born in Ukraine moved to America when he was only 6 years old, seeking treatment for his extreme height.
At that time, he was already 6 feet tall but he ended up growing to an extreme height of 7 feet, 8.33 inches.
That abnormal height of the deceased was caused by a tumour in his pituitary gland that caused the secretion of excessive growth hormone.

Vovkovinskiy was declared the tallest man in America in 2012 when he edged out sheriff’s deputy in Virginia by less than an inch.
USA’s tallest man was also famous for his big feet. When he was 28 he issued a plea for a donation to get shoes his size.
Although supporters donated more than the $16,000 required for the construction of the shoes, Reebok provided Vovkovinskiy with free custom-made shoes.
