Super Singer Ed Sheeran Tests Positive For COVID 19

• United Kingdom singer Ed Sheeran has announced that he has tested positive for viral disease COVID 19

• He made the disclosure through his Instagram page, revealing that he is now self-isolating in accordance to protocols

• The 30-year-old is expected to release his fourth studio album titled “equals” on Friday

Multi-award-winning singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran is the latest celebrity to test positive for COVID 19.

The musician from the United Kingdom revealed his current predicament via his Instagram page on Sunday.

“Quick note to tell you that I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines,”

The news comes ahead of the musician’s fourth studio album “equals” which is set to be released on Friday.

As part of the promotion, he was expected to Zane Lowe to play some of the songs from the album and take questions from fans.

Ed Sheeran disclosed that he won’t be able to carry on with any in-person commitments as most of them will be turned virtual.

Only last week, Sheeran performed in London as part of the inaugural Earthshot Prize awards which was hosted by the Royal family.

In his post, Ed Sheeran did not state whether he had received the vaccine but he hinted that he was about to in July.
