The round of funding was put together by Animoca Brands, Republic Crypto, Polygon Studios, and Vision Capital
Minted studio Mystic Moose has announced that $5 million has been raised towards its next project which is going to be a gaming metaverse called Planet Mojo.
This round of funds was gathered from investors such as Courtside Ventures, Republic Crypto, Polygon Studios, and Sky Vision Capital and led by Animoca Brands.
Planet Mojo will reportedly be a gaming platform for browsers and its signature game is an auto-chess game that allows players to buy their teams as NFT.
According to Mystic Moose, the NFTs which are called “Mojos”, are a part of small plant creatures native to Planet Mojo.
Other characters and features that are yet to be revealed will also be featured at a later date.

Speaking about the collaboration, Yat Siu, executive chairman at Animoca Brands said:
“I’m very excited about Planet Mojo and its upcoming blockchain-powered metaverse and auto chess game. We look forward to working with the team to push blockchain gaming to the next level.”
Planet Mojo will drop its first set of Mojos in the first half of 20 and Mystic Moose is already hiring people for the project.
