The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Adeboye has revealed that he will receive the COVID 19 vaccine for the sake of his ministry.
The church minister stated this during the monthly Holy Ghost Service program at the Redemption Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
While addressing thousands of congregations, the 79-year-old preacher encouraged them to get vaccinated.
“I have never said to you, ‘Don’t be vaccinated.’ You’ve never heard that from me. Rather than live in fear or doubt, get vaccinated. If you believe that getting vaccinated will put your mind at rest, then go ahead.”

The pastor also stated that he was also going to get vaccinated if the lack of vaccination may hinder his ability to preach the gospel.
“If vaccination or no vaccination is going to hinder me from doing the work God has called me to do, even if they ask me to be vaccinated 100 times, I will be vaccinated.”

Pastor Adeboye however laughed off rumors that some governors were set to make vaccination compulsory for those who want to attend church gatherings.
He stated that those leaders were missing the point because there are not enough vaccines for citizens in the country.
