
COVID 19 Vaccine: 17.7 Million Nigerians Get Fully Jabbed

17.7 million Nigeria have fully taken the COVID 19 vaccine, according to the Federal Government.

Ambassador of Spain, hails the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) for their relentless campaign to get Nigerians to take the COVID 19 vaccine against coronavirus.
According to the Federal Government, only 15.8% of Nigeria’s total population have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus.
The Federal Government disclosed yesterday that over 17.7 million Nigerians had taken the COVID 19 vaccine.
29,651,708 Nigerians have received the first dose, while about 14,179,966 have received the second dose as of May 24.
Also, about 1,178,604 persons have taken the booster dose of the vaccine.
Faisal Shuaib, the Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), urged all young people aged 18 and above, breastfeeding mothers, and the general masses to take the vaccine to bolster their immune system against the virus.
He also advised everyone who has not completed the vaccine doses to get the vaccine.
He made the statement while receiving four million (4,400,000) doses of Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccines donated by the Spain government through the Ambassador of Spain, Juan Ignacio Sell.
Juan Ignacio Sell praised the United Nations International Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) for their relentless campaign to get Nigerians to take the vaccine against the coronal virus.
He said:
“I hail the National Primary Health Care Development Agency and its Executive Director, Dr. Faisal Shuaib, and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for their campaign to get Nigerians vaccinated against COVID-19 pandemic.”

He also informed Nigerians that Spain is not alone in the donation.
According to him, the donation is a part of a larger one with the EU and other state members, and they are committed to helping the country as a team.
