Elon Musk’s Tesla has deployed two Supercharger stations in Morocco, signaling an entry into the African market.
Installation of Superchargers is generally the company’s first step before entering into a new market.
The car company opened the charging stations at the Onomo Hotel in Casablanca and the Al Houara Resort and Spa in Tangier.
Both charging stations will have four v2 150 kW old generation technology superchargers each.
In the past, Billionaire Elon Musk has spoken about the possibility of his electric car company launching in Africa, and this signals his intent.

This doesn’t mean that Tesla vehicles are not available in Africa at the moment. Many of such vehicles have been shipped in by wealthy individuals who bypassed the wait.
However, after the importation of the vehicle, they are often faced with problems since the company does not extend its services to the African market.
