It all began when Shloms purchased a second-hand Lamborghini Huracan for $250,000 and blew it up while an explosives expert filmed it along the way. When he was interviewed after the explosion, he claimed that his action was done as a protest against the “get rich quick” mindset among many crypto investors.

He then proceeded to turn the car’s remains into a Lamborghini NFT collection, which comprised 999 broken pieces, and he is set to auction it. Shloms had initially tweeted about the idea of breaking down a Lamborghini into pieces, after which he and his followers decided to do it chaotically. The artist went further to say that this project was motivated by his hate for Lamborghinis.
After building out a 100-member team that included a licensed explosives engineer, Shloms blew up the Lamborghini on February 2 and the video was uploaded to Twitter on February 18.
