Operatives of the Amotekun corps in Ondo State have successfully rescued the kidnapped wife of the Chief of Staff to Ondo state governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale.
Mrs Ale was on the night of Thursday, 26 November, 2020 kidnapped at Owena in ldanre while travelling from Lagos to Akure.

The assailants laid siege on the highway at a spot reportedly closed to a military checkpoint where they took her away into the forest.
According to Vanguard, personnel of the Amotekun corps in collaboration with local vigilantes as well as hunters combed the Idanre forest until the victim was rescued.

“I can confirm to you that the wife of the Chief of Staff has secured her freedom and on her way to Akure. “She was released without paying the ransom as she was rescued by Amotekun and local hunters.
