In the early hours of Wednesday, 23 December, the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) called off its strike, ending a protracted industrial action that spanned through nine months starting in March 2020.
Biodun Ogunyemi, the National President of the ASUU made the announcement during a briefing of the union in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
