Eberechi Eze Voted Premier League Player Of The Week.

Nigerian-England born midfielder Eberechi Eze has been voted Premier League Player of the Week following his brilliant performance for Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Eze was selected as the best player this weekend by football facts and statistics website whoscored.com, after his fine display in scoring and also assisting in Palace’s 4-1 win against Leeds United.

Eze who scored his first Premier League goal for his new club with a sublime free kick midway through the first half, finding the top corner from 25 yards and later creating a well timed assist for Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew, he also made two shots and two key passes in the match.

Also, he was included in whoscored.com’s Team of the Week that has the likes of Chelsea duo Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chillwell, Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United and Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur.

Eze was born in Greenwich, Greater London to Nigerian parents, is eligible to play for both Nigeria and England.

Although he played for England’s U-20 and the U-21 but yet to play for their senior national team, Nigeria also have an eye on the Crystal Palace star.
