The ongoing protest to end police brutality in the country is being countered by another set of protesters called Pro SARS.
The Pro SARS protesters are a set of Nigerian youths that are in support of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). A rally was organized by these set of protesters on Monday, October 12, 2020, where they stated that SARS operatives in the country have contributed to the fight against terrorism in the country.
On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, the #ProSARS protesters got engaged #EndSARS protesters at their rally in Abuja. They brought weapons such as Cutlass and Sticks, destroying cars and property. The clash also resulted in the injury of some people as seen below.
