It’s another sad day in Nigeria after an unfortunate aircraft crash resulted in the death of the Chief of army staff, Lt General Attahiru Ibrahim.
According to reports from the military, the minister was on his way to an official meeting in na Kaduna.
An unknown number of the lieutenant’s aides were also with him on the aircraft.
Efforts are being made to recover the remains of the plane and the bodies.
General Attahiru was only 54 years old at the time of his death, having been born on 10 August 1966.
He was appointed the chief of army staff on 26, January 2021 and he held the post for only 4 months.
