NAIJA SONGS: RHYTHMICALLY SLAYED OR NOT?

RHYTHMICALLY SLAYED OR NOT?

Speaking of rhythmically Slayed or not, Bob Marley once said and I quote: “The good thing about music is when it hits you hard, you feel no pain.”
and dang!
There isn’t any better saying than this when the art of music is being  described in general but hollup for a sec, man!!!

Have you taken a look at the current naija vibes blazing the airwaves recently? And of course the internet?
Nna mehn, I must say things are kicking up real nice and these artistes are going in for the kill as it is no longer about the business of good beats and wacky lyrics but of eye catching props and costumes, blood pumping choreography, great scenery, grassrooted and thought provoking lyrics, hilarious drama, all cataclysmically put together to give you that Chinese kpishauuuun effect...Lmao!
You know what I mean, yea?
So, today I am going to lay on the altar of #RhythmicallySlayedOrNot the top newest naija jams that are bursting the airwaves as we read….

Wait for it!

Starting from the bottom, ‘Owo Blow’ by Olamide is one spanking new vibe that is gradually sinking in from the much airplays that its been getting but not as much as and as instantaneously piercing as ” who you epp” was.

I personally think its just the case of outdoing your best when the previous song was a hit (well, Queen Bee is the only artiste that makes every new single a constant hit in a way that you forget the previous one was much as amazing…)

I dare you to name another artiste that outdoes a hit song… Ooops, Michael Jackson was one like that but he dead!

#JustSaying

Ok, moving the hell on… Haaaa, “Oluwa” Koker!
#DancingShokiForKoker

Oshe!

That youngster is the revolution of and essentially pivotal to the success of the almost dwindling record label, Chocolate city. I said almost dwindling ooh ( hey M.I faithfuls do not dare come for my hair now) because much of the talents the label holds ain’t popping huge eggs like freshboy koker is.

I will tell you why!
If you’re current, you would know that he just laid another huge vibe on deck after the hit song…#PauseAndCracksBrain

“oooh I got it .”

Kolewerk….!

Where he featured Olamide.. remember the song??
Silly me, how won’t you!
Anyways, guess what!

He definitely slayed in check with another mentally stimulating song and this time, without mincing words Koker went all out on his latest released single, ‘Give Them’ produced by the newly signed in Chocolate City artiste-producer, Ckay, proving to his fans that he means business and from the look of things, he might just be that saving grace for Choc city.

Lest I forget, need I say that this single promises to be another party banger?
U can bet on it!

Guys, I think we should take this a notch higher with Nigerian Igbo rapper, Phyno Fino. In case you didn’t get the memo, Phyno Fino celebrated his birthday few weeks ago precisely on the 9th of October. Turning 30, he decided to gift his fans with a song that can go head to head with any of Flavour’s jams. He calls it ‘Pino pino.’

Kai kai kai… That song is life! Phyno slayed yet again, take it or take it..I leave you no choice. Its a typical love song for the Igbo lovers. With an intro of smooth sultry guitar instrumental, Phyno leaves any omalicha daydreaming of a time she would be serenaded to Pino Pino on her wedding day.
If you think I am bluffing or simply overreacting, then check it out!

How dare I talk about the latest and freshest naija jamz without unveiling the superstar DJ Spinall’s second single ‘Ohema’ off his sophomore album titled TEN, released on the 10th of October 2016?

DJ Spinall is a smart guy who knows  how to leverage on artistes that are raving in the moment and guess who the  he featured on Ohema…!!

‘Mr. Zagaddat’, your boy Eazi.

Both entertainers were seen on the rooftop of a building on a very cool day in Mushin, Lasgidi (Lagos) shooting, the visuals of this new joint; Ohema.
Now, there is no exhausting of all the latest naija vibes that are currently blazing on all stations today but I would like to read from you on what songs I missed out on and deserve to be enlisted in here!!

OK lovelies, keep it locked on #RhythmicallySlayedOrNot for many more reviews on the latest naija vibes doled out day in_day out on all Naija airwaves.
