Nigerian musician Davido doesn’t fail to put in hard work and this has often been reflected in his music.

The music star’s hit single “If” which was released in 2019 was certified Gold in the US after it sold 500,000 copies.

As usual, the Afropop star took to social media to express his delight at the news. He thanked on his Twitter page and shared the news on his Instagram.

This isn’t the first song from the artiste to be certified Gold in the Us. In May 2020, his 2017 hit single “Fall” also received a gold certification.

In other news: Nollywood Actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has trademarked her first name.

Fans and other celebrities congratulated the star artist as he is the only Nigerian artist to have achieved this feat.
