-
Abba Kyari has come up with a new story about his ongoing fraud scandal with alleged scammer Hushpuppi
-
It was alleged that the former Inspector General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team received 8 million from Huspuppi to detain a fellow fraudster known as Chibuzo Vincent
-
The police chief denied the statement via an edited Facebook post on Tuesday where he claimed that the fraudster only sent him an N8 million transfer receipt to help him recover a loan
Abba Kyari appears to be in one of the most confusing situations ever as the police officer keeps changing his account of a fraud case involving him and Ramon Abass AKA Hushpuppi, according to People’s Gazette.
A US Court had published a report last week that the police chief received 8 million from Hushpuppi to arrest a colleague of the alleged fraudster named Chibuzor Vincent.
Kyari initially denied the claims, stating that Hushpuppi contacted him to help me purchase some traditional wears.
The super cop’s story appears to have changed after he edited his Facebook post on Tuesday night.
According to Kyari’s recent edited post, Hushpuppi only sent him the receipt of an N8 million transaction for the police to help him recover a loan.
The post claims that Hushpuppi’s friend borrowed a person N8 million and the debtor refused to pay back the money.
“Nobody demanded or collected any money from Abbas Hushpuppi. He can be interviewed Publicly in the Presence of world media by the people holding him to confirm this. He also called for another case in June 2020 and complained about a financial transaction with a second person whom he said his friend sent 8million naira to and pleaded for his friend’s money to be recovered.”
Abba Kyari claimed that his new story can be confirmed by Huspuppi who is still in the custody of the FBI.
Before his post could be seen by everyone the following morning, the supercop deleted it in its entirety.
Since Abba Kyari’s fraud saga with Hushpuppi began, the highly decorated cop has been removed from his role as Inspector General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team.
The super cop is also currently being investigated by the Nigerian police force which will determine if he will be extradited to the United States.
