Triple MG Boss, Ubi Franklin, has lamented that the Chinese man who attempted to kill him yesterday in Lagos State has been released by the police. The estranged husband of Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro, on Tuesday recounted how he was almost stabbed by a certain Chinese man in the state. According to him, the Chinese man, who runs a furniture shop, LIFEMATE furniture show room, in the Lekki area of the state, took him by surprise with the two knives he held to stab him. Franklin said he had gone to Lifemate Furniture in Lekki to inquire about a furniture he ordered which was not attended to. On getting there, the Chinese man took him by surprise and ran behind him with two knives, trying to stab him. He said he was saved by a scream from his cousin who was closeby.
Following the attack, Franklin said he reported the matter to the Police in the area, who transferred the case to Maroko police station. He said when the Chinese man was asked why he engaged in the act, his reply was ‘Cos I said ,see this Chinese man o.’

But in less than a day after the record label owner made this known, he says the Police has released the Chinese man.
In a Youtube video, Franklin said, “So the policemen actually released this man that tried to kill me yesterday and he is actually here working. Right now, it’s like a foreigner came to my own country to kill me and the released him in less than five hours.”
Can you imagine this? We give these so called foreigners ‘too much leg’ in this country. Can you go to their own country to try this rubbish? This is always the case though.
