An Abuja based model Boston Roland has alleged that he had an amorous affair with Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe who is currently at the center of a domestic abuse court case with her husband, Lanre Gentry. According to the model, he has known the actress since 2014 when they were in a sexual relationship, although, he did not know she was an actress until a friend of his told him. Roland shared his post on his Instagram page, adding that Ms. Aigbe in 2014 lied to him that she’s a single mum. He went further to disclose that they had fun a couple of times in South Africa, but had to let go after his friend told him that she’s actually a Yoruba movie actress. He is however alleging that her husband, Gentry, may have caught her cheating again, hence, the reason he beats her up.

“@mercyaigbe was cheating with me one time in 2014. I didn’t know her as a celebrity. She told me she was a single mom. We had sex many times, went to South Africa only for me to find out that on my own… when my friend saw me and told me she acts Yoruba movies and that she is married. So I think her husband caught her cheating again. She is like that. Believe me, she wants to play victim.”

Boston also revealed that he still has photos he took with Mercy, and will release it if she toys with him.
He wrote: “Forget it, you can’t fool everybody. I have pictures of us, if you don’t behave yourself, I will post it. Also, I don’t support woman beaters.”

Recall that the actress’ seven-year-old marriage crashed after photos of her battered face went viral on the Internet last weekend, as she accused her husband of physical assault. Ms. Aigbe had laid complaints with Lola Akande, the Commissioner of Lagos State Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, who handed over the case to the state Ministry of Justice.
A fight between the couple allegedly led to her bleeding. Despite the explanations given by Mr. Gentry that the pictures of the actress’ bruised face were behind-the-scene images from a movie set, the actress secured a restraining order against him. Gentry was on Tuesday arraigned before an Ogba Magistrate court on a three count charge offence bordering on breach of public peace, assault and causing grievous bodily harm on his wife. Since he couldn’t meet up with his bail conditions before the Magistrate closed for the day, he was remanded in the Ikoyi prison.
