The news of Davido’s kind gesture towards his young fan went viral after the Nigerian music sensation shared a picture of the building he is erecting for the lucky boy and his mother. Remember Utibe? Few weeks ago, Utibe did a rendition of Davido’s song and to our utmost surprise, Davido sent the boy to school. In the video gone viral, the little boy was just singing along with smiles all over his face.

He sang it like he owned it, although, some of the lyrics were developed by him. Lol. The young boy obviously won Davido’s heart. Utibe had been out of school and only passed the time miming songs until a concerned neighbour picked interest on the boy and uploaded a video of him lip-syncing to the musician’s song on Instagram – The rest became history!

Who would have thought that a mere boy just singing to a song will make bag him the beginning of a bright future? From Davido’s post on Instagram, it seemed he will sponsor the boy’s education for life. Let’s recall what he said: “Here’s what he wrote on his Instagram page: “OBO GOT YOU FOR LIFE KID!!! NOTHING MAKES ME MORE THAT U FINALLY GET TO START SCHOOL!! 30 billion for ur account oooo!!!! WE RISE BY LIFTING OTHERS!!”

After letting fans know he’s gat the little boy for life, ‘OBO took to his Instagram page and Twitter handle to share photos of the new building he’s building for the boy and his family. He wrote: “Utibe loving the new house I’m having being built for him and his mother!! Can’t wait to visit when I’m back home!! OBO GOT U FOR LIFE!!!” Read it up HERE.
Obviously moved by the kind gesture, the talented footballer took to his social media to applaud the singer. On his official Twitter handle, Drogba described Davido’s act of kindness as classy.
