Popular singer, Reekado Banks seems to be shading Falz in this new interview. He says people should mind their business and let the government deal with illegal people, instead of poking into their affairs. Was he in anyway shading Falz? This may not be unconnected though because recently, Falz’ utterance sparked outrage on social media after he advised Nigerian entertainers to stop promoting fraud with their music and desist from praising fraudsters. Falz, in a chat with Hiptv, said the culture of praise-singing internet fraudsters aka Yahoo Boys is at the detriment of the society. He further advised that as an entertainer, lyrics of songs should be aimed at encouraging good morals for the young generation of Nigerians to emulate but his comments sparked controversies on social media. Reekado Banks shades Falz?
In the same vein, Reekado, who has collaborated with Lawyer turned musician on some songs before now seems to have waded into the topic, although, he was not specific.
In his interview with HipTV, Reekado Banks said people should mind their own business and allow relevant government authorities take up cases against people doing things that might be considered illegal.
The ‘Katapot’ crooner said, “I think everybody should be left alone to do whatever they want to do. If you are doing anything illegal, the government will definitely come for you but majorly mind your business and do what you do. Don’t poke your nose into nobody’s business.”
