International Pop Star R. Kelly remixes Davido’s “IF”
Pop singer, Davido’s latest hit single, ‘IF’ has no doubt gained International attention. Davido is on another wave as American ace singer, songwriter, record producer, and former professional basketball Robert Sylvester Kelly, known professionally as R. Kelly just made a remix of Davido’s Worldwide hit tune “IF”. Indeed, it is another huge one for the Nigerian music industry. R. Kelly remixes Davido’s “If”.
Davido, who recently welcomed his second child, Hailey from Atlanta-based babymama, Amanda, is super excited and astonished about the recent development. He announced the remix excitedly on his Instagram page on Friday. Davido shared a video clip of R Kelly remix of ‘IF’ and caption it: “Crazy the legend R.Kelly remixed ‘IF’ Whaaaaaaat! I’m honored! #backtobasics stay true to your culture! They will come.”
Davido’s first single of the year was released early 2017. The release of the record titled “If” showed that Davido was ready to top music charts on the Tekno produced record. Indeed the song is making waves.
Recall that in January after Davido fired his then manager, Kamal Ajiboye, he had said that he was going to stick with his cultural tune.
Davido said: “Fuck all that international shit! It’s cool but fuck it. I am back to the basics.”
