The one-year-old marriage between Patoranking’s record label boss, Foston Utomi and his wife has crashed.
The couple was to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary yesterday (Sunday) but the wife, Ajoke has announced the marriage is over.
The wife had accused him of domestic violence and constant threat to her life.
News broke last week that Utomi, CEO of Foston Musik, battered his wife and threatened to drown her in her blood.
Ajoke had shared photos of herself covered in blood and said her husband striped to his underwear in front of her & his friends and battered her for hours.
So, if you missed the first gist, Utomi’s wife and mother of his child said he beat her up for hours, locked all the doors so she wouldn’t be able to escape and threatened to kill her.
If these celebrities are not busy impregnating other girls, cheating or getting involved in other ills, they are beating their wives. What has this world turned into anyway?
I really don’t get this. The rate at which domestic violence is creeping into the homes of Nigerian entertainers is quite alarming and it’s finally blowing itself out of proportion.
This was a couple that met on Instagram and Ajoke was so happy when they were about to tie the knot that he held her hand and supported her despite her parents’ resistance because she got pregnant with their son, Kendrick while in school.
Ajoke, on Sunday has told her husband that he didn’t give the happily ever after feeling she imagined after their one year marriage anniversary.
The mother of one also disclosed her marriage with Patoranking’s record label boss, is really over in a post she shared with photos from their wedding.

“Today I was staring at our amazing son while he slept, i forgave you and I prayed for you for the first time in all these months, that you conquer your demons and find peace and happiness and I genuinely this morning, wished you a great life.
