Still in the spirit of celebrating life at 40, Funke Akindele and her husband, AbdulRasheed Bello, have unveiled a record label. Funke Akindele unveils record label with hubby, signs new artists.
Her husband, popularly known as JJC Skillz recently turned 40.
Funke, better known as Jenifa turned a songster as she celebrated her hubby’s birthday with a surprise musical video for him.
Funke alongside some of their staff surprised JJC at their Amen Estate house in Eleko.
It is indeed a huge surprise pack for JJC Skillz.
The surprise video was put together by Funke Akindele (who sang the first verse), as well as the signees under the Scene One Productions brand and JJC’s kids.

In what can be called a family business, the love birds unveiled the record label, SOP Records which already has some artistes on the table.
The unveiling is part of the programmes marking Bello’s 40th birthday.
In a statement, some of the artistes on SOP are Mo Eazy, Gemstones, Sonorous and Martinfeelz.

“GemStones are female twins – Awa- Agwu Uzoma Ruby and Awa- Agwu Olanma Pearl – who sing Afro RnB.
“After graduating in 2015, they auditioned for the MTN Project Fame Music Competition, season 8.0 and were both selected to be in the Reality TV show.
“With Pearl coming out First Runner-Up and working with Yemi Alade and Chidinma to release songs, Whatever you Do and Kedike remix.
“Pearl went on to release her own single, Kuro in 2016.
“Mo Eazy, whose real name is Moses Agboola, was born in Kano but moved to UK where he honed his music skills in the church.
“Mo Eazy has a single, Red Carpet, and has performed with industry heavyweights in UK and Nigeria while he has received several awards and nominations.
Martinsfeelz (Olawale Ayoeji Martins) and Sonorous (Omokanye Olasunkanmi Muhammed) both hail from Ilorin, Kwara State.
