One of the finalists of the recently concluded Big Brother Naija Reality TV Show, Tboss, has reacted to her National Anthem scandal. I can sing the National Anthem, Tboss.
Recall that while the show was on, Tboss disgraced herself on National Television as she could not recite the Nigerian National Anthem.
The controversial and most beautiful housemate shocked Nigerians when she failed to recite the National anthem.
She woefully failed when asked by fellow housemates to recite the National anthem.
TBoss’ mistakes while reciting the national anthem, sparked a lot of controversies on social media.
But to prove Nigerians wrong, TBoss’ younger sister, Wendy, took to Instagram to recite the Nigeria’s national anthem, which her sister couldn’t recite.
Trust Nigerians with no chill pill, they dragged her to the mud.
Well, the show has ended and Tboss has decided to clear the air.
In an Interview with the Pulse, Tboss stated that she messed up because she was tired.
According to her, she turns that way sometimes when ‘put on the spot’.
On not being able to recite the anthem, Tboss said,
“Now, with the National anthem thing, I do know the National anthem. It’s just that I missed it.
“I was tired, I was exhausted, I just wanted to go home. I had seen my family and it was like ‘please.’
“I missed it. That was just what happened.
“I did feel like I was put on the spot because, I kind of signaled her, but, she didn’t get it.
“She really didn’t get it. It was an honest mistake on her part.”
The controversial former housemate gave an example of being able to speak pidgin but freezing and unable to speak it during her auditions for the show.
“Because, I had history with being told off like, ‘what makes you think you’re good enough for this because you’re not Naija. Can you speak pidgin?”
“And I bet you – you heard me speaking pidgin in the house?
“At my auditions, I couldn’t speak pidgin.”

Speaking further, she addressed her outburst with Debie-Rise.
Recall it was Debbie Rise who asked her to sing the National Anthem.
She said, “Like Debie-Rise has said, that house isn’t a normal house.
“At a point, you could go crazy and this was the one person I could confide in, I drew energy from her own energy.”
“I was upset, I’m not going to lie,” she added.
