Nigerian pop star, Davido, is currently making news headlines for making financial promises to a fan and not fulfilling same. Davido promised on Twitter to help his namesake, David Adeleke pay his tuition fee for his new admission into Yale University. He has not given him the money and now, they are dragging him all over Twitter, trying to shame him. Well, does anybody have money? Everyone is broke oo and even if you want to argue by saying Davido has cash in his account, it is not anybody’s business. How come they are lashing him? Fans blast Davido for not paying his namesake’s tuition after promising.
David Adeleke, who felt bad that Davido never fulfilled his promise, tweeted some cryptic messages which was linked to Davido and picked up by Twitter User, Osarumen Osamuyi who blasted Davido for promising to help the poor boy only to leave him high and dry.

Reacting to this, Davido tweeted: “Yea I sent a wire yday from my American account which will reach him on Monday it’s an international transfer so you wouldn’t understand.”
