Nigerian music stars, 9ice and Falz have cleared the air over misconceptions that they are both having some sort of misunderstanding. This comes after Falz called on fellow entertainers to stop glorifying fraud with their music and desist from praising fraudsters. He criticized Nigerian artists over their lyrics which seeks to glorify prominent people of questionable characters mostly involved in fraudulent activities such as Yahoo Yahoo. Falz, 9ice have dinner together to debunk beefing reports.
Falz, in a chat with Hiptv, said the culture of praise-singing internet fraudsters aka Yahoo Boys is at the detriment of the society.

He further advised that as an entertainer, lyrics of songs should be aimed at encouraging good morals for the young generation of Nigerians to emulate.

His statement stirred up a lot of controversial comments on social media. While some Nigerians, especially Twitter users believe Falz is right, others totally disagree with the notion that Nigerian artists are encouraging crime with their lyrics. Also, 9ice reacted to Falz’ statement, saying he is not promoting fraud in his songs, rather his song is to motivate people to go out and work to earn a living. Well, everyone has a different opinion about Falz’ statement.
But Falz has however cleared the air over ‘beef alert’ reports. The duo were seen having a cozy time from a dinner party in a video they both shared on their Instagram pages.
