Pop Star, Davido narrowly escaped a robbery attack on Monday while in a club. Davido, who is currently on his ’30 Billion’ world tour, encountered an outrageous scene during a club show when a yet-to-be identified man ran to him and tried to snatch his diamond chain worth N20 million (How did I know the amount? You know Davido likes to show off, he had told us the price on Instagram. Lol). Davido escapes robbery attack after hoodlum almost snatched his N20m chain.
This is not the first time Davido would be involved in such an incident. Recall that about two years ago, he narrowly escaped death after being robbed by armed men in South Africa.

Davido escapes robbery attack after hoodlum almost snatched his N20m chain
Davido and his manager, Kamal, landed in SA and were on their way from the airport to their hotel when they were attacked by two armed men. Their belongings including a Rolex watch and a passport were stolen. Thankfully, they were unharmed.
Fast forward to present…From the video clip on Youtube, Davido (at least was not high then) was quick to grab his chain and his bodyguard? maybe though…a guy that was seen with him, tried to chase after the dude but thankfully again, the dude did not succeed. See video below…
For the records, Davido’s tour dates and concert tickets are still making the rounds, in case you have not come across it. On July 7th, the pop star shut down the stage in Frankfurt, Germany when he performed at Willy-Brandt-Halle. There, he excited his fans with ‘If‘, his latest single ‘Fall‘ and some of his other hits.
Meanwhile, his song, ‘If’ has been nominated for the 2017 Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA) in the Best Single category. The award ceremony will be held on September 3, 2017, in New York City.

Davido tweeted: “Everything is earned on this side.” he went ahead to appreciate his fans, saying: “Frankfurt Germany last nite was amazing!!! My Fans and God is all I need! Thank you guys for bringing my dreams to reality!!! MADNESS!!!!”
Apart from Frankfurt, the pop star has also performed in Brussels, where it was a sold out event. Other places include Sweden, Denmark, and Paris.
