Popular Nigerian female dancehall artiste, Cynthia Morgan, has come with a word for all female artistes in Nigeria, saying the throne belongs to none of them but her. The ‘German Juice’ crooner, who has been on some sort of hibernation mode for some time now, made this known in a recent post on her Instagram page. Cynthia Morgan boasts, undermines ‘all’ female artistes in Nigeria.
Ms. Morgan shot into limelight following the release of two singles titled “Don’t Break My Heart” and “Lead Me On”, which received massive airplay and positive reviews from critics but after her extended time off the scene, she has decided to ‘make bold’ to insinuate that no Nigerian female artiste equals her. Wow. Really daring and amazing.

According to the Edo State born singer, the throne does not belong to the celebrated female artistes who are currently making waves in the industry, maybe the likes of Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade? etc. In her opinion, they were just filling the space in her absence but now that she’s back, they have no choice than to make way for her.
Well, if you ask me, I’ll say the lady is confident. But not everyone thinks so, as some say she is being full of herself. Lol.
In a comment-disabled Instagram post, the 26-year-old singer, whose music is a fusion of pop, hip hop, dancehall and rap, wrote: “You know the throne is mine. Pay no attention to the break in transmission. It was for a better purpose. #let’s unite Africa through music and what you have your power in.”
What do you think of her statement? How true could this be? Is she ‘also dreaming’ like Humblesmith who recently said he wants to break Michael Jackson’s world record?’
