Davido begged me before I featured him in ‘Living Things’ remix – 9ice brags

Popular Nigerian singer, 9ice, has claimed that DMW boss, Davido begged him to feature him in his hit song “Living Things” remix. The ‘Alakpomeji’ crooner said this during a recent interview with TooxclusiveTv. Davido begged me before I featured him in ‘Living Things’ remix – 9ice brags.

Here’s what he said, “I was in US then and one guy from Davido’s team told me that Davido will be happy to be in the remix of my song which is “Living Things” Remix. Then I said ok and he recorded it. I don’t really love doing remix of my songs, I’m not a fan of remix. If you do remix of a song, that means you are not sure of what you sing in the original song,” 9ice added.

Meanwhile, it is no longer news that the song ‘Living Things’ which he is ranting about, has been banned by the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC. According to PREMIUM TIMES, the corporation on Tuesday, hinted that it has banned the 5 songs – Olamide‘s “Wo” and “Wavy Level“; Davido‘s “Fall” and “If (Remix)“; and 9ice’s “Living Things,” from being aired across the Nigerian airwaves.

Recall that in June this year, the federal government, through the Ministry of Health, had launched a campaign to ban smoking in public places including motor parks, shopping malls and health care centres.

The Health Ministry, in a communiqué, said according to Section 9 of the Nigeria Tobacco Control Act 2015, once convicted, offenders are liable to a fine of at least N50, 000 and/or six months’ imprisonment.

Tweeting the information via its official Twitter page, the Ministry of Health claimed that the video, which features ghetto scenes in which youth are seen smoking, encourages second-hand smoking.
