Ace American singer, songwriter, record producer, and former professional basketball Robert Sylvester Kelly, known professionally as R. Kelly, seems to be highly impressed by Davido’s ‘IF’. So after a remix of the song, R. Kelly took to Twitter to insinuate that his jumping on the track pushed it to 2nd place on #itunes charts overseas. The R&B godfather declared on Twitter that Davido was already number 2 on ITunes. In a swift and hilarious response, Davido tweeted: ‘It’s still me at number 1, I decided to beat myself’ Lol.

Since the remix of his song by R Kelly giving it a new face, the Nigerian Pop-star has been on another wave, hyper and super excited and astonished about the recent development. He announced the remix excitedly on his Instagram page on Friday. Davido shared a video clip of R Kelly remix of ‘IF’ and caption it: “Crazy the legend R.Kelly remixed ‘IF’ Whaaaaaaat! I’m honored! #backtobasics stay true to your culture! They will come.”
