The 2017 edition of the annual Black Entertainment Television, BET, Awards is here. Organizers unveiled the list of nominees in 21 categories that cover music, film and sports. Nigerian music artistes, Davido, Wizkid, Tekno and Mr Eazi have been nominated for 2017 BET best africa international act. BET Awards 2017: Why Wizkid may win Best International Act.
Leading with seven nominations is Beyonce in categories including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Video of the Year and Album of the Year (Lemonade). Contending with Beyonce in the Best Female R&B/Pop Artiste category are her sister Solange, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige and Kehlani. In the Album of the Year category, Bruno Mars, J.Cole, Chance the Rapper and Solange will be going head to head with Beyonce.
Nigerian music act, Wizkid seems to be on top of his game as this is the second time he would be nominated in the same category. Other Africans in the category are AKA (South African, Nasty C (South African), Babes Wodumo (South African).
