Nigerian music legend, 2face Idibia, has called out critics who say he wants to enrich himself with Internally Displaced Persons’, IDPs support funds. This comes after the hip hop star paid a visit to Sambisa forest, during which he checked on the people displaced by the Boko Haram war. 2face blasts haters.
But the Afro-pop music legend, has declared he has no ulterior motive to divert funds that would be realized at the special fund raising concert, tagged Eargasm, for his personal use.

According to him, fund realized at the concert scheduled to hold today at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, will be used to cater for the Internally Displaced Persons, which is the major objective of the concert.
In a recent chat, 2face said people who think he has hidden agenda to enrich himself with proceeds from the fund raising concert are nonentities.
He said, “My attention is focused more on the individuals and organizations concerned with providing support for IDPs; people who murmur about hidden agenda don’t matter.

He denied allegations that his support for IDPs may be a calculated attempt to redeem his image for pulling out of the February 6th peaceful protest.
2face said, “If they are pessimists and haters then they need to be saved from themselves. The 2face foundation’s first activity in January 2017 was Project 1.4-1.4, with which we sought to raise N14M in 14 days to assist IDP intervention work being undertaken by winners of the 2face peace awards.
“We launched million voices for peace project in 2012 and have a rich history of peace building initiatives. It’s primarily in the interest of peace that I called for the February 6th peaceful protest; for anyone who thinks my image needs redemption for my commitment to peace building, I have absolutely no comment”, he added.
