Lagos reggae festival set to hold March 26
The long awaited Lagos Reggae festival is set to hold on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
Conscious Vibes Africa (the monthly reggae revival movement) designed to hold annually, is aimed at gathering all Nigerian reggae artists/fans together to celebrate reggae music in Nigeria.
The festival will welcome lots of reggae enthusiasts, foreigners and diverse ethnicity to the Freedom Park Lagos (old colonial prison yard/ No1, Broad street, hospital road Lagos), where the atmosphere is perfect for the magnitude of spectators and the line-up of events packed for that day.
This will be a gala event any reggae lover wouldn’t want to miss.
The event will see a series of live reggae performances and an ample flow of palmwine.
Boogie Down — K-Solo ft Coco Ice [Music]
Those billed to perform include one of the best reggae presenters in Nigeria Ratata (wazobia fm), DJ Genesis, Gloria(comedian) and the Conscious Reggae band will be featured.
Others billed to perform are – Captain Blazee (root reggae artiste), Phebean (the undisputed Queen of sax), Tonie (Emperor of contemporary reggae), Y-Pick(one of Nigeria’s best guitarists), Great Mosiah (the Akwa-Ibom best reggae soul act), Dezign (one of our best dancehall reggae artiste & signed under Alter Plate Records by Harrysong) and Squeeze Tarela (A fast growing reggae/dancehall artiste).
