The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is currently in a meeting to discuss the future of the head coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr.
It is believed that Rohr’s sack may be announced soon following a colorless 1-1 draw between Nigeria and Cape Verde.
Although the tie secured the Eagle’s qualify for the world up playoff, it left many fans and stakeholders angry.
According to Vanguard, the meeting is ongoing to select Rohr’s replacement and arrange his compensation.
68-year-old German Gernot Rohr is a football manager and former football player who played as a defender.

In his managerial career, he has been the coach of clubs such as Young Boys, Bordeaux, and Nice. He also coached national teams Gabon, Niger, and Burkina Faso.
He was hired as the head coach of the Super Eagles in 2016 and led the team to a third-place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
