The resignation of Austin Eguavoen and the dismissal of his crew doesn’t come as a shock to Nigerians. This is due to the poor performance of the Super Eagles in the World Cup qualifiers, with the team losing on away goals rule after a 1-1 aggregate draw with Ghana.
