2022 Grammy Awards: Full List of Winners as Wizkid Suffers Heartbreak

The 2022 Grammy Awards was initially scheduled to take place on January 31 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The event was however postponed until April and moved to the MGM Arena in Las Vegas due to the Omicron surge in late 2021.

2022 Grammy Awards

American Jazz musician, Jon Batiste was the biggest winner. The artist who was nominated for 11 Grammy Awards, picked up 5 trophies on the night, including album of the year for “We Are.”

His huge win was followed by “Silk Sonic”, a group that is comprised of Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak. The R&B duo racked up four awards, including the record of the year.

Olivia Rodrigo and Foo Fighters followed closely with three Grammy Awards each on the night.

There was however heartbreak for Nigeria’s Starboy, Wizkid as he failed to pick up any award despite getting nominated in the Global Music Album and Global Music Performance Categories.
