Binance Listed as Official Crypto Sponsor of the 64th Grammys

  • Cryptocurrency exchange, Binance has been announced as the official crypto partner of the Recording Academy
  • As a result of the collaboration, the exchange will sponsor the 64th Grammy Awards which comes up on the 4th of April 2022
  • The partnership will allow the exchange to bring Web3  tech solutions to Academy events and Binance has suggested that the collaboration could go beyond the Grammy Awards

Blockchain and crypto giant, Binance has signed a partnership agreement with the Recording Academy that will make the exchange become the official sponsor of the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. The sponsorship will also cover Grammy Week events such as the inaugural Recording Academy Honors celebration.

The partnership will help promote emerging Web3 technology solutions and highlight experiences of the organization’s events and projects.

Binance has also confirmed in a statement that the partnership with the Recording Academy will extend throughout the year, and bring Web3 technology solutions and experiences to members, events, and initiatives.

A statement from the co-founder of the crypto exchange, Yi He reads:

“Starting with the Grammys, we are excited to work together with the Recording Academy to bring fresh new experiences powered by blockchain and all the great things Web3 technology can bring to entertainment.”

 Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the Recording Academy will be collaborating with a company in the blockchain sector. Only in November last year, a three-year deal between the Grammy organizers and NFT marketplace, OneOf was signed.

As a part of the deal, the NFT marketplace will create non-fungible tokens to mark the 64th, 65th, and 66th Grammy ceremonies. Also, OneOf will be one of the sponsors of this year’s event.
