2022 Billboard Music Awards: Drake and Olivia Rodrigo Top List of Winners
The 2022 Billboard Music Awards was held on Sunday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and a lot of top celebrities turned up in style.
The show which celebrates, music’s highest chart-topping artists, was hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs. It also featured performances from top music stars such as Burna Boy, Travis Scott, Bryson Tiller, Jack Harlow, Becky G, and Ed Sheeran.
The African giant, Burna Boy thrilled the crowd in attendance with a thrilling performance of his newly released song, “Last Last”.
Drake was the biggest winner of the night as the Canadian rapper picked up the Top Artist award, beating off competition from other stars like Doja Cat, The Weeknd, and Taylor Swift.
Olivia Rodrigo was named the Top New Artist, ahead of The Kid Lario, Giveon, and Pooh Shiesty. Drake and Rodrigo also took home the Top Male Artist and Top Female Artist awards respectively.
