Legendary Canadian rapper, Drake is giving back to the community and he is doing it in crypto. The artist recently donated $1 million worth of Bitcoin to a charity owned by basketball star, LeBron James.
The charity called, LeBron James Family Foundation provides support to underprivileged students, along with other initiatives.
The donation from the “In my feelings” singer comes after he won 1 million dollars on an online gambling site, Stakes.com.
According to TMZ, Drake placed a bet on the platform’s online roulette tables and got the huge sum as a reward for his roulette moves.
This also follows a link-up between LeBron and the singer in Toronto last weekend, as they were spotted in a restaurant called Harbour 60.
Drake took a local high school basketball player called Michael to the dinner.

The young player who is part of the Royal Crown Academy and on his way to continuing his amateur career at college also received $100,000 from the artiste.
At the time of this report, Bitcoin is on the rise, the flagship cryptocurrency has added almost 3% in value within 24 hours to reach $43,200.
