Despite the country recording fewer covid cases daily, Medical experts have warned Nigeria to be careful about a third wave of the virus.

Experts believe that the country is still at risk of the pandemic and measures must be taken to keep it at bay.

COVID third wave

The President of the Academy of Medicine Specialties of Nigeria, Prof Oladapo Ashiru recently disclosed that most recent transmissions in the country are from inbound passengers from India.

Prof. Ashriru has suggested that Nigeria limits flights and passengers from the Asian country for two weeks.

Report shows that the number of new cases in the country has remained the same between last week and now.

424 new cases were recorded between April 21 and 27 and 423 cases were recorded in the week presiding that.
