The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted its travel ban on Nigeria after a disagreement between both countries on COVID 19 protocol.
UAE had demanded that incoming travellers from Nigeria undergo other COVID 19 tests despite initial tests carried out in Nigeria.
The resumption of flights was announced on Saturday at the Media office in Dubai after both countries reached an agreement.
The latest directive is that travellers are expected to have a negative COVID test from at least two days before coming into the country.
The negative PCR test is expected to be accompanied by a code from laboratories approved by the Nigerian government.
Passengers will also be required to undergo the same test upon arrival in Dubai.
