Tech giant Facebook has added a series of features in its latest update for Messenger

Users taking screenshots of a disappearing message will now trigger an alert to the sender

Users can also swipe up to reply and react to messages in Secret Conversations using emoji
Facebook has updated its Messenger app to offer improved functionality in Secret Conversations.
The company will now inform users when screenshots are taken by the receiver when disappearing messages are sent.
In addition to that, a host of new functionalities which were in regular conversations have been added to the Secret Conversations feature.
The update will also allow users to swipe up to reply to messages in Secret Conversations and forward messages to other conversations.
The company has also stated that its end-to-end encryption has been extended to group chats and calls in Messenger.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the update by sharing a post of his wife Priscilla Chen, showing the screenshot detection feature along with other features.

Secret Conversations on Messenger have been missing features found in regular messaging for a while.
Facebook is bringing much of the missing functionality to the encrypted mode and it starts with its latest Messenger update.
