Several Nigerians recently took to Twitter to launch a campaign against cryptocurrency exchange giant Binance.
The frustrated Nigerians lamented about various technical issues with the exchange which the company has failed to resolve.
One of the major complaints about the exchange was that users’ accounts were being blocked without valid reasons.
Various complaints of that sort were seen under the Twitter Nigeria hashtag, #BinanceStopScamming, which generated over 20k tweets.
One user, Ama Judy claimed that her cryptocurrency had been seized for more than 10 months and all attempts to reach the company for support have proven to be futile.
Other users complained about the quality of their customer care service and urged other Africans to boycott Binance.

Following the complaint, the company responded by releasing a form that users with problems could fill out to get a quick response.

Additionally, the exchange claimed that some users’ accounts were blocked to protect funds and accounts will never be restricted without good reason.
